Itall started during the mid 90s in high school. I looked forward to sharing music with my skater (yeah, that's me up there) and death rock friends. Mixtapes with custom covers were huge and featured bands like Sonic Youth, Smashing Pumpkins, Jane's Addiction, Ride, Sugarcubes, Foetus, and Mary's Danish. Old newspaper and magazine collections reserved to collect dust were raided. With scissors and experimentation at hand, I cut out words and images, then blended them together. Pre-Photoshop? Indeed.

Whether designing a logo, website or packaging, I use a proven design process. After receiving your Brand Profile, I'll examine your top five competitors to ask questions. Which brands are weak vs. strong? Do any of them evoke emotion? Do they have longevity? These answers provide a basis for developing a creative strategy and positioning your brand in the marketplace.
Research & Evaluate
Next. I research and evaluate to develop the personality of your brand. I answer these questions: What attributes make your company unique? How do we differentiate and demonstrate value to your audience? Will people care and relate to your company's message? I take notes. I sketch. I experiment, allowing the design process to unfold naturally but always following a creative strategy.
